Visual Identity for a drama play, 2005



Design of an invitation, two posters and a brochure for the theatre piece Molly Bloom (Last chapter of the famous 19th century British novel Ulysse written by James Joyce). The theatre piece was a monologue played by a unique actress and divided in three distinctive parts. The first part, she speaks calmly. The second, she gets more nervous and spontaneous. The last part, she gets agitated and almost schizophrenic. 

The final concept is composed of three different pictures, where a woman takes three different positions. The typography coming out her mouth are sewn letters taken from clothes labels; sewing illustrates feminine activities which take a lot of thoroughness like her discourse. Because the piece has been written during the dadaist movement period, the general information about the play has been arranged in their manner. Finally, Molly Bloom is talking in the name of all women. I kept her anonymous by placing a white stripe
over her eyes.
